When Once We Were a Nation

In the year 1620, the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth, England carrying more than a hundred hopeful, determined, and God-fearing individuals into an unknown future. Setting their minds on the promises of God and their faith in Him, they ventured into the unfamiliar as they placed their lives and those of their children in His hands. Little did they know that despite many hardships they would build the most powerful, inventive, industrial, and free nation that had ever existed to this point in history.

For many, the nation was founded on God. The fabric that held the country together was woven with the blood, sweat, tears, fortitude, and faith of a generation who set their resolve and trust in the God of the Bible and never looked back.
America the Beautiful. The Strong. The United. The Innovative. The Independent.
America, the One Nation Under God.
So, what happened? As a godless and seemingly aimless America faces decline unparalleled to any deterioration that previous generations could have ever foreseen, many now look around in astonishment and wonder what changed.

Can America return to its glory days? If so, how?
Join Thomas Horn, Christina Peck, Robert Maginnis, Donna Howell, Sheila Zilinsky, Josh Peck, Cris Putnam, Sharon Gilbert, Allie Anderson, Joe Ardis, and Derek Gilbert as this question is explored and discussed in When Once We Were a Nation.

I contributed a chapter on the demise of American manufacturing and what it might mean for our future.

A Nation Under Judgment School Blames Victim

File this one under “a nation under judgment”… you might think “so what?” old news right… well, yeah but I’ve been resisting theologically “going there.” After reading the following story, I just created a new Word Press category for this website “Nation Under Judgment”  (incredible as it may seem, prepare yourself to morn for the morals of a decade ago) I do think this applies, (*in principle, not context) to our nation, the USA:

“For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasoning, and their senseless hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, … Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to immorality, that their bodies would be dishonored among themselves,(Romans 1:21–24)

According to the legal authorities of the state of California, we’re suppose to believe that a pubescent thirteen-year old girl is at fault for being repeatedly raped by Elkis Hermida,  her twenty-eight year old math teacher. That’s right… she is held partially responsible rather than the twenty-eight-year old, college-educated, state-licensed professional who is paid by taxpayers (like her parents) to teach the young victim. When hired he agreed to a  Code of Conduct which is available for all to examine. He egregiously violated that legally binding code.

The California jury was also brazen enough to decide that since the rape sort of seemed consensual the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) of was really NOT GUILTY of neglecting this young child while she was statutorily raped. …repeatedly. Of course, to those of us who remmeber what America used to be like something as blatantly stupid as this begs credulity… so much so I sincerely thing it must be supernatural – I suppose I refuse to believe otherwise sane adult human beings can be this stupid without a powerful supernatyrally evil influence.  I call it the Paranormal Paradigm Shift and I wrote a detailed warning predicting this and much more in The Supernatural Worldview  (click to order a new signed copy for less than Amazon list)
