Stage is Set for Panspermia Creation Myth

panspermia-gorusu-850x500

Panspermia means that life on earth was seeded from outer space. The term “panspermia” derives from two Greek terms: pan, meaning “all,” and sperma, meaning “seed.” There are two forms directed (ETs seeded earth) and undirected (DNA from a comet or meteor). Many have thought it unlikely because the heat of entry into the atmosphere would incinerate organic matter. However, it looks like DNA is more resilient than we thought. Scientists from the University of Zurich in Switzerland found that DNA can survive:

DNA ‘can survive re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere

Scientists who attached small double strands of DNA to the outer casing of a rocket discovered it could survive temperatures soaring to more than 1,000 degrees Celsius

DNA can survive re-entry into the atmosphere, raising the possibility of extraterrestrial life molecules arriving on Earth from space, research has shown.

The discovery came as a total surprise to scientists who attached small double strands of DNA to the outer casing of a rocket.

Despite temperatures soaring to more than 1,000 degrees Celsius during the short flight to sub-orbital space and back, much of the DNA emerged intact.[1]

Science fiction authors and the entertainment industry have been promoting panspermia for decades. Recent films like Prometheus (2012), Knowing (2009), and Mission to Mars (2000) have sown this seed into the public psyche. Interestingly, Richard Dawkins made an appeal to directed panspermia in the movie Expelled when he was asked about the origin of life by Ben Stein:

Stein: How did it get created?

Dawkins: By a very slow process.

Stein: Well, how did it start?

Dawkins: Nobody knows how it got started. We know the kind of event that it must have been. We know the sort of event that must have happened for the origin of life.

Stein: And what was that?

Dawkins: It was the origin of the first self-replicating molecule.

Stein: Right, and how did that happen?

Dawkins: I told you, we don’t know.

Stein: What do you think is the possibility that Intelligent Design might turn out to be the answer to some issues in genetics or in Darwinian evolution.

Dawkins: Well, it could come about in the following way. It could be that at some earlier time, somewhere in the universe, a civilization evolved, probably by some kind of Darwinian means, probably to a very high level of technology, and designed a form of life that they seeded onto perhaps this planet. Um, now that is a possibility, and an intriguing possibility. And I suppose it’s possible that you might find evidence for that if you look at the details of biochemistry, molecular biology, you might find a signature of some sort of designer.

Stein (as narrator): So Professor Dawkins was not against Intelligent Design, just certain types of designers such as God.[2]

Kenneth J. Delano, wrote in an officially sanctioned Catholic book, “Our religious sensitivities ought not be shocked by the idea that the evolutionary history of the human body might be traced back ultimately to a primordial refuse heap left by visiting ETI when Earth was young.”[3]

In other words, it is consistent with Catholic theology to believe we might have evolved from ancient alien garbage.  Considering all the recent hullabaloo from the Pope about baptizing ETs, one wonders what Rome is up to (time to read Exo-Vaticana). Many have noted Pope Francis’ ecumenical jihad but might it also connect to panspermia?  Perhaps… and here is how.

Dr. Michael Heiser speculates that scientific evidence seeming to affirm that life on Earth was seeded from space could potentially inspire an inclusivist global religion. In regard to panspermia, he wrote, “It will be the paradigm that allows the atheist to tolerate religion, and allows literalist Bible-readers, the eastern Buddhist, and the pagan to simultaneously parse the new science the same way. This might in turn be useful fodder for a global religion.”[4]  This new DNA evidence makes this seem much more plausible.

This article states about movies: (they) …have sown this seed into the public psyche.

Speak for yourself….my psyche is not nor has been seeded – I like science fiction because it takes fiction from science and applies fantasy…for me, the right mixture can be entertaining but nothing more.

    • Karl says:

So, are you saying that the idea of alien seed being the origin of life on Earth did not register in your mind when you watched these movies (or ones like them)? Or, are you saying that your belief system is not shaken by the fictional representation? If the latter, I think you may have missed the point of the article. Whether presented in a positive (protagonistic) or negative (antagonistic) light, the seed (idea) has been planted. I don’t believe Cris is even suggesting that you avoid these films. He is just making us aware of the agenda.

You don’t have to agree or disagree in the the realm of predictive programming. You only have to perceive the concept.

A likely scenario once the ‘rapture” happens and 100’s of millions of people have vanished, is that the mile-wide ‘UFOs’ show up over the capitals of the world. The entire communications system of each culture will be overtaken and a constant mantra of, “We are here, we’ve been here before and we took the others to a ‘better’ place. We have an ‘implant’ we want you to accept that will change your DNA and let you live forever. The was NO Darwinian evolution–we did it by planting you here.”
This will of course be the ‘AntiChrist’ system with the ‘Mark of the Beast’……those who don’t take the Mark will be killed, but will be ‘saved’ by Jesus Christ upon His return. A beautiful girl will be the spokesperson constantly blasting out these lies, so as to squelch opposition. Hybrid beings of various types will be exiting the ships to ‘keep order’. II Thess. ch 2 is why this hasn’t happened already, “…He who holds fast, WILL hold fast, until He be taken out of the way.” The ‘Great Rapture’ takes the ‘He’ out of the way (collective body of Christ).
All of the ‘Star Wars’ type films coming out of Hollywood seem to be de-sensitizing people to these up-coming events. Why am I writing this? Someone might read it after I am gone into the rapture, plain and simple.

I do believe that the earth and other worlds were/are populated with species by superior life forms. The evolution argument is faulty and is used by the religion(s) as a straw man to debunk or reject.
The problem(s) with both science and religion(s) is sheer arrogance. Neither want to study the research of the Von Danikens , Sitchens or Icke.
The explanations of the races by science and religion is just one area that both fall short of a reasonable answer.
We all did not originate from Africa nor the middle east. Aryans/Nordics may have lived in ancient Egypt and migrated north by India. But Aryans/Nordics are not even close to the negro or sematic-Arab that dwells in the regions today.
Science with it’s “climate” and pigment theory is just nonsense. And equally silly is the story of a great builder of cities with a “mark” called Cain. Or the mixed race/bloodline family of a character called Noah.
Enki and Enlih are the one’s described in the creation stories all over the world including the bible, Koran, Talmud/torah, Vedic etc.

    • michael sean says:

I don’t think you could have named three bigger frauds than Icke, Sitchen, or Von Daniken, if you tried.

Their “research” tends to be of the ‘cobbled together from bits of other people’s work, lies, and misquotes/quotes out of context’ school of thought.

Really, their work is pretty much garbage. I mean where are Enki and Enlil mentioned in the bible at all?

      • Mark says:

Just in case YOU DON’T KNOW. The Sumerian stories carved on clay tablets pre-date the Torah by at least 4,000 years. And what a surprise. You can translate those ancient stories and compare them to the bible/torah creation stories and guess what? They’re practically the same except the names are changed.
Try reading the Kings List and then go to the Torah/bible and you will see how you are reading a forgery.
I know those who claim they believe on faith.
But we have words etched in stone that reduces bible stories to mere fakes. Your “faith” does not make your myths/fables true.
So go ahead and “believe” in talking snakes and donkeys. I can actually read the genesis and names of these “animals”. Enki bestowed knowledge on his created species and Enlih was against educating the Homo Sapiens (slaves).
See the almost exact story line? The god(s) of the torah/bible, Koran and Vedic were flesh and blood entities from other worlds. How can anyone believe that a supreme being (creator) conducts business on earth from another unseen dimension is beyond me.
Hint. The sky is not a dome-like structure that separates heaven and earth. Surely you’ve witnessed space travel? So where is this “creator” that walks around in a garden on earth looking for his creation?

        • Cris Putnam says:

I wrote on the sumerian stories and their relationship to the Hebrew accounts in Exovaticana, I guess you really have no idea what I believe? “But isn’t it true that the Sumerian tablets predate the Hebrew Bible? Yes, they are older, but the veracity of both traditions presupposes the Sumerian anteceding the Mosaic. Plainly, they both speak to the same Flood, but the Babylonian traditions hold that their pre-Flood stories were buried at Sippar and later recovered. In contrast, the Hebrews believed their accounting went back to Noah, who preserved the antediluvian material. Thus, we should expect the Sumerian tablets to be older. Because the Flood was an actual historic event, it follows that both cultures share a common memory. Even so, the Hebrew Bible presents a more realistic account with a seaworthy ark design, one that has proven to be immensely stable. In contrast, the four-sided tub described by the Sumerians is hardly seaworthy. While the existence of similarities is beyond dispute, the charge of plagiarism is no longer accepted by modern scholarship. The peoples of the ancient Near East shared a common history and worldview. One would expect similarities, given the patriarch Abraham was from Ur and the Israelites were held captive in Babylon just prior to the Hebrew Bible’s completion. Even so, ancient astronaut theorists, relying on the discredited Sumerian translations by Zecharia Sitchin, lead many people astray.” (Exo-Vaticana)

          • Mark says:

At least you’re willing to admit the torah/bible, Koran and vedics are mere copies of more ancient writings.
The Babylonian “captivity” nonsense is just as immature as the so-called exodus story. Again we have written in stone proof of Sargon I and II. All we have from the bible is hearsay and oral stories by a person called Ezekiel.
What does this tell you about the copied Sumerian religion by desert nomads called Hebrews? Fraud and forgery, that’s what!
Glad you mention Abram. he by the way somehow ventures into a higher society in Egypt for his
“training”. Then you have a character called Moses that also gets “educated” in Egypt. Then all of a sudden. Egypt is a horrid place according to the copiers of the bible. Why is that? Hmmm. Ever been to Vegas and lost you rear? Or was not accepted into a popular club? This is why these desert nomads called Hebrews hated higher societies and called them evil. No on liked a band of thieves, murderers and rapist in polite society. So the Hebrews invented their own “kingdoms” and hero’s to compete with the high societies that refused their backwards lifestyle.
Just read and talk it out. And you will admit to yourself you’ve been duped and deceived by these thieves and murderers. Just look what they did and do in Palestine.

          • Ken B says:

            Haha, Anti-Semitism.

How original. Don’t forget your pointy sheet hat on the way out, Mark.

        • jaz says:

That which is Spirit is not flesh and blood/ God is a spiritual being/ No man can Know God lest he be born of the Spirit of God. One can know about God and talk about God without Knowing Him. such is the case with many church people and their leaders.
It is obvious that you ‘Mark’ do not know God and therefore ready to deny not only God but the texts wherein His word is recorded and contained. Your knowledge puffs you up.That is what this world’s education does, it beguiles and makes one stubborn of heart. “for the heart is deceitful above all else and desperately sick” Those who live a Lie do not know it and they assume that all is well. “for the God of this world (lucifer) has blinded the mind of those who are perishing”
Moses was ready to forego his education and follow the Calling of God, That is what you need to do!

The problem for Sitchin is he cannot even read Sumerian (he made a lot of it up). http://www.sitchiniswrong.com/
