  1. Michael says:

You are always in my prayers brother along with Steve, Tom, and others fighting the good fight of faith. I wanted to thank you for your testimony and voice of reason even in topics as far out there and difficult as this. I am not critiquing because I have learned so much from you and Tom and always take it to the Lord in prayer and checking the word. Basically I wanted to point out that I hear the verse you referred to on the show is often misquoted and am concerned because it leads people to think it is possible as the elect to be deceived. This is the verse and maybe I am wrong but in love and edifying of the body of believers it says if possible God bless and thank you again for your awesome testimony and for fighting the good fight of faith,

    Matthew 24:24
“For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.”

    • cyberpriest says:

Hello Michael; if the elect are those jews and gentiles grafted into the “Olive Tree’ (the Israel of God, God’s Holy remnant) Then I fully concur that they cannot be deceived.

That does not mean that there be some yet to be grafted in who are presently in error, and that the voices in the wilderness that cry out shall reach their ears to dispel the voices of the wolves in sheep clothing (the hirelings of gain)
      God’s grace to you.

My take on this bible verse considers both the severity of the deception and the hope of the elect to not be deceived.

It is my firm belief that only those who seek the spirit of truth to guide their understanding (i.e. those that have the faith of children to obey) will overcome this deception. If we lean on our own understanding, we WILL be deceived, and that goes for the elect as well.

      My two cents.

  2. BT says:

Well, with a lead off like this, you can bet I took notice!

    Quote:

“I am about to touch the third rail of religion.

I am not always right, but I am always willing to search for what is right…what is True. When I began my weekly commentary back in 2005 I made a vow that I would not shy away from controversial issues. It is the controversial ones that need our attention.

Let the assault on my character commence. The accusations of anti-Semite will be lobbed at me like a hand-grenade. The name calling, and character-assassination will increase.

But that is ok. I only seek Truth, and ask you to follow Ronald Reagan’s admonition to “trust, but verify.” I will provide links in which you can search the Truth for yourself. Please don’t take my word for it….”

That’s not exactly in keeping with the tone of Newswithview that I’ve become familiar with, and it is a very brave stance he is taking. He will catch heat for it.

I appreciate you sharing this and hope you won’t remain a stranger to this blog completely.
Perhaps we can say “Hello” once in a while on this lady’s blog?

Good article sandy. The deception goes quite deep and is well exposed in the “synagogue of satan” by andrew hitchcock. That should be required reading for not only christians but all people of the planet as it will affect their lives greatly shortly and its biblical.

“I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the Synagogue of Satan.” Revelation 2:9

“Behold, I will make them of the Synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie: behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” Revelation 3:9

  4. BT says:

For some reason I can’t make a comment on the PITN blog.

I was just wondering if I’m the only one who finds Gary Stearman’s set a little “bizarre”.
Wouldn’t it be a little more “dignified” if perhaps Gary could sit behind a desk to interview his guests? It seems for one thing that he is a rather short man, and it would give him the benefit of having a chair make him appear a little larger,(if that is something he is sensitive about.)

And why is it so dark on that set? Maybe lighten things up a little bit?

Other than that, I’m curious what the two chapters on Israel are about in the book that Chris mentioned.

Care to give us some detail on that, Chris?

    • BT says:

Never mind my question about Israel.
Looking at some of the other blogs, it probably had to do with this:

“As Predicted in Petrus Romanus: Israel Reaches Historic Agreement with Vatican”

    • owl says:

I find the hand gesture at 0.26 in that particular vid quite telling.

      • BT says:

I saw that, too, but hope it was just normal hand movements rather than anything intentional.
That’s always a tough one to say for sure. Anyone can have a picture snapped at a certain time and it might seem to be displaying a hand sign, but could be completely innocent.

Read the book and then I will be happy to discuss it with you.
